In compliance to new state and federal guidelines the following new rules will be in effect for Little Harts Summer camps.

  • Only scheduled children and teachers are allowed in the building to safeguard our students. (Call Carol 214-923-0370 for appointments.)
  • Every child and teacher will have their temperature taken before entering the building. We use non-contact infrared thermometers to ensure all student/teachers are fever free each day.
  • Any student or teacher exhibiting flu symptoms: cough, sore throat, fever, headache, aches and pains, etc. will not be allowed to enter the facility. If these symptoms appear during class time, the child will be quarantined until a parent can pick them up. We ask for your help as well, if your student is exhibiting any signs of illness, please keep them home.
  • In addition to our normal standards (before eating, after a visit to the restroom, sneezing) students will be asked to hand wash/sanitize before playing with any toys, as they rotate to different spaces, and after playing outside.
  • Sanitizer stations, as well as student instruction/reminders for safe hygiene will be provided.
  • At the end of each day, the toys that were played with will either be thoroughly sanitized or put in a bin for a timeout period. Toys from home are not allowed.
  • Door knobs and other high touch/traffic areas will be cleaned before we start our camp, when students go outside/prep for snacks, and at the end of the day.
  • The whole building will be thoroughly cleaned at the end of each day.
  • We are looking into a few other cleaning steps we may add to ensure our students and teachers are safe.
